Face-to-Face Tutorials for Distance Learners in Bangladesh

Abstract
Bangladesh Open University provides face-to-face interaction to the learners at specified tutorial centres. Several factors including the conditions and infrastructure of the tutorial centres, the tutor’s qualifications, experience, teaching style and strategies are of considerable importance in the tutorial process especially in distance education. The present study reports findings concerning the tutorial services and the tutors, and makes suggestions for improvements.
